Ather Rizta EV Scooter Specs: Range 160 km

INTRODUCTION

Ather Energy, an EV manufacturer based in Bengaluru, has recently introduced its highly anticipated electric scooter, the Rizta, with a starting price of Rs 1.10 lakh, ex-showroom. The Rizta will be available in three variants, namely Rizta S and Rizta Z, both equipped with a 2.9 kWh battery and the top-end model Rizta Z, which comes with a 3.7 kWh battery.

DESIGN AND COLOUR

The scooter’s family design is further enhanced by the range of colour options available, which includes a total of 7 colours. These colours are divided into 3 monotone shades and 4 dual-tone shades, providing customers with a variety of choices to suit their personal preferences. The Rizta features a more rounded design in contrast to the sharp design of the 450, incorporating large body panels that contribute to its overall tranquil appearance.

MODELS
  • Rizta S has a capacity of 2.9kWh and is priced at Rs 1,90,999.
  • Rizta Z is also available with a capacity of 2.9kWh but at a lower price of Rs 1,24,999.
  • For a higher capacity of 3.7kWh, the Rizta Z model is priced at Rs 1,44,999.
RANGE AND BATTERY CAPACITY

The Rizta can be powered by either the company’s 2.9kWh or 3.7kWh battery pack, offering ranges of 123km and 160km respectively. Both options allow for a top speed of 80kmph and two riding modes – Smart Eco and Zip – not available in the 450 series.

INSIDE STORAGEĀ 

The Ather Rizta has a 56-litre storage area, the largest among Indian scooters, with a 34-litre under-seat compartment and a 22-litre frunk accessory. Customers can add an 18W charger to the underseat storage.

Ather has launched the Halo helmets, including the Halo Bit for Rs 4,999 and the Halo for Rs 14,999. Pre-orders come with a Rs 2,000 discount.
