INTRODUCTION

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE was globally revealed on Thursday, introducing the ‘Fan Edition’ (FE) series for smartwatches. It has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display, dual-core Exynos W920 processor, and IP68 certification for dust and water protection. It includes health and activity sensors for heart rate, ECG, and blood pressure tracking, as well as the ability to control smartphone cameras and access digital wallets.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE will be globally available for purchase this summer, with no specific date mentioned by the company. Different features of the smartwatch will vary depending on the region. The watch’s aluminium body comes in Black, Pink Gold, and Silver colour options, with a single 40mm size and interchangeable one-click bands.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE features a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels. It is equipped with Sapphire Crystal glass and the Always On Display functionality. The watch is powered by a dual-core Exynos W920 chipset and comes with the One UI 5 Watch, which is supported by Wear OS. It has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.


The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is equipped with a 247mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly using WPC technology. It offers various connectivity options such as LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, and NFC. The watch has a durable MIL-STD-810H-rated build and is water-resistant up to 5ATM. It also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. With dimensions of 39.3 x 40.4 x 9.8mm and a weight of 26.6g, it is compact and lightweight.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE will be sold at $199.99 for the Bluetooth-only version and $249.99 for the LTE version, as reported by The Verge. The Bluetooth-only version will be available for purchase starting June 24, while the LTE version will be released later this year
