Subhadra Yojana 2026 Instalment Updates

So far, five instalments have been paid since the scheme began in September 2024. The fourth instalment was credited on 8 March 2026, International Women’s Day, to about 1.02 crore women. The fifth instalment of Subhadra Yojana 2026 followed on 28 August, Rakhi Purnima, when ₹5,000 each reached more than 1.03 crore beneficiaries, a transfer of over ₹5,160 crore. Payments went directly to bank accounts.

Going by the usual pattern, the sixth instalment is expected around March 2027, close to Women’s Day. However, the government has not announced an official date yet, so rely only on announcements from the Odisha government and the official portal. Women who have pending e-KYC or bank issues should fix them now so they don’t miss the upcoming release. Keep checking the official portal regularly.

How to Check Subhadra Yojana 2026 Application Status

Step 1: Visit the Subhadra Portal

Open subhadra.odisha.gov.in in any browser. This is the only official website for the scheme, so ignore lookalike sites and social media links. On the home page, click the option to track your application status. Keep your Aadhaar card and the mobile phone registered with your application nearby, since you will need both of them in the next steps. Use a secure, stable internet connection.

Step 2: Verify With Aadhaar or Application Number

Enter either your Aadhaar number or your 16-digit Application Reference Number. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Type the OTP and submit it to log in securely. If the OTP does not arrive, check whether your number is still active and correctly linked, or visit a Mo Seva Kendra to check the status with an operator’s help.

Step 3: Read Your Status

The page will show whether your application is approved, under verification, or rejected, along with instalment details. Approved applicants can see each payment, the amount, and the date credited. If the status shows rejected, read the reason given, correct the issue, and contact helpline 14678 or the block office to know whether you can reapply in the next window. Keep a screenshot for your records.

Subhadra Yojana 2026 Eligibility Recap

You qualify if you are a woman aged 21 to 60, a permanent resident of Odisha, and your family holds an NFSA or SFSS ration card or earns below ₹2.5 lakh a year. You need a single-holder, Aadhaar-seeded, DBT-enabled bank account. Families of MPs, MLAs, ministers, Class I or II officers, and income-tax payers are not eligible for this benefit.

Women already receiving ₹1,500 or more per month from another government scheme are also excluded. For 2026, Face Authentication e-KYC is compulsory to keep receiving payments. Even if you were approved in 2024 or 2025, complete this step at a Mo Seva Kendra or Common Service Centre, otherwise your next instalment may be put on hold until verification is done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Subhadra instalment not credited?

Common reasons include an inactive DBT or NPCI link on the bank account, pending Face e-KYC, a joint account, mismatched bank details, or incomplete verification. Visit your bank to seed Aadhaar and enable DBT, then complete e-KYC at a service centre. Once the problem is fixed and verification is done, you become eligible for the following payment releases. Keep your bank passbook updated regularly.

Conclusion

Subhadra Yojana 2026 remains one of the biggest direct-benefit schemes for women in India. Track your application status on the official portal, keep your bank account and e-KYC in order, and watch for the sixth instalment expected around March 2027. For any problem, call 14678 or visit a Mo Seva Kendra. Stay alert and avoid fake websites. Looking for skill training too? Read our PMKVY registration and job placement guide.
